NSF Carolina Cyber Defender Scholarship (CyberCorps SFS) Service scholarship
Stipend of $37,000 per academic year, $2,000 for textbooks, $4,000 for SFS job fair and professional development travel, plus applicable tuition and fees; MS students supported up to two years, PhD students up to three years.
Eligibility: Incoming MS or PhD in Computer Science main campus students studying cybersecurity.
Obligation: Work in a qualified cybersecurity position for a federal, state, local or tribal government agency or a qualified national laboratory for a period equal to the time supported.
